In la Mimosa we have 3 small flats for holidays, two one-room flats (each for 2 persons) and a two-room flat (4 persons), all having their separate bathroom and kitchen unit. La Mimosa is an old farm house standing in the middle of its 16 acres land, a shelved ground overgrown with olives, vine and wood. Situated on the fringes of the Chianti district, 16 miles south-east of Florence (direction Rome), on the eastern side of the Chianti mountains, sloping downwards to the Arno river, 1000 feet above sea level. You can go for a walk on the ground and in the environs, you can go on mountain bike, walk in the wood, have a sun bath undisturbed, or rest in the shadow with a cup of tea or a cool refreshing drink. You can read your favourite author or the newspaper, or you can listen to the birds song. At La Mimosa you are not far from Florence, Siena or San Gimignano, Arezzo, Greve in Chianti, and all the charming villages in the Chianti-area.

You can reach la Mimosa by car or train: from Florence you can take the beautiful road through the Chianti district. The route passes through one of the most charming pieces of country in Tuscany. You can also take the motorway, about 21 miles. The railway station is Figline Valdarno, 2.5 miles from la Mimosa. There are services to and from Florence more than every our; the trip takes about 30 minutes.
